16-year-old girl hit by car along Ubi Road 1, was sent FLYING.

While attempting to jaywalk across Ubi Road 1, a teenager in uniform was hit by a car.

In the video, which has been shared and circulating on Facebook pages such as “ROADS.sg” and “SG Road Vigilante”, the girl can be seen looking out for traffic, but only to her left.

As she broke into a spurt, the oncoming car from her right, a red Suzuki Swift, hit and sent her flying a few metres.

A crowd of passers-by soon gathered to her assistance and two men could be seen shifting and laying her down at the side of the road.

Police said they were alerted of the accident and that the 16-year-old girl was conscious when she was transported to the hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.

We never know when we might be involved in an accident. Be thankful for the everyday and always remember to check-clear on both sides while crossing!
