Think you’ve had enough of Batam? If you haven’t checked out the NEW Ranoh Island, I’m afraid you haven’t!
Growing up in Singapore, Batam has always been one of the go-to places for my family vacation. Whether you are there to shop, eat or indulge in the cheap traditional Indonesian massages, the island of Batam promises an unforgettable experience. This time, we decided to give Ranoh Island a shot to discover what else Batam has to offer.
ADVENTURE RANOH ISLAND
Previously known as Ranoh Beach located on Ranoh Island, this place of attraction was just reopened to public recently, rebranded as Adventure Ranoh Island.
Located in a small island across Batam main island, this tropical paradise offers a wide range of water sports and activities, perfect for family with kids or even a graduation trip for students on a budget.

To start off our 2D1N trip, we took a fairly fast ferry ride to Batam. Then, the journey to Adventure Ranoh Island is divided into two trips, both land (60 min) and sea (15 min). At first glance, its sounded like long trip, but with good company and beautiful scenic view along the way, I felt the land journey wasn’t so bad at all! From the port, it took approximately 15 min via a speedboat to reach our destination island!
Adventure Ranoh Island provides a full and comprehensive range of games and activities. From jet skiing and snorkeling to rafting and archery, you are bound to find something fun and exciting to do! Personally, I am a water person. So I enjoy every bit of fun in sports that the water offers!
Time to relax and unwind with some good Indonesian food. Lucky for us, we didn’t have to decide what to have for lunch because the package we bought already includes a Traditional Indonesian Style Buffet!
