A house renovation in Tokyo uncovered a gruesome story that is sure to upset stomachs. Termite exterminators working on the house found bodies of several babies preserved in bottles. The babies still have their umbilical cords attached.
It was recently purchased and the new owner wanted to renovate the house. The previous owner was an obstetrician: a surgeon who practises the branch of medicine and surgery concerned with childbirth and midwifery.
3 or 4 of such bottles were found beneath the floor of the house which has been abandoned for the past 3 years. The bodies appear to have been preserved in a substance resembling formalin, a highly toxic poison.
The police declined to confirm the report.
