As of 29 February 2020, 10am, there are 98 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Singapore. On 28 February 2020, there were 2 new confirmed cases.

The 97th confirmed patient is a 44-year-old female Singapore Permanent Resident

  • 20 Feb 2020: developed symptoms
  • 20 Feb 2020: visited a GP clinic
  • 27 Feb 2020: referred by MOH to NCID as she has been identified as a close contact of case 93
  • 27 Feb 2020: tested COVID-19 positive
  • Linked to case 93 and 95
  • Work at Wizlearn Technologies Pte Ltd
  • Attended a business meeting at the Agency for Integrated Care
  • Lives at Choa Chu Kang North 5
  • No recent travel history to China, Daegu and Cheongdo

The 98th confirmed patient is a 24-year-old male Singapore Permanent Resident

  • 28 Feb 2020: tested COVID-19 positive
  • No recent travel history to China, Daegu and Cheongdo
  • Currently warded in an isolation room at NCID
  • Linked to cases 93, 95 and 97

Update on confirmed patients in Singapore

  • 69 patients have fully recovered and discharged
  • 29 still in hospital, most are stable or improving
  • 7 in critical condition
