As of 11 March 2020, 10am, there are 166 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Singapore. On 10 March 2020, there were new confirmed cases.

The 161st confirmed patient is a 73-year-old male Singaporean

  • 27 Feb 2020: developed symptoms
  • 1 Mar 2020: referred to NCID as he had been identified as a contact of case 107
  • 9 Mar 2020: tested COVID-19 positive
  • Family member of case 107
  • Linked to the SAFRA Jurong cluster
  • Lives at Bishan Street 13

The 162nd confirmed patient is a 28-year-old male Singaporean

  • 29 Feb – 2 Mar 2020: in Indonesia
  • 7 Mar 2020: developed symptoms
  • 9 Mar 2020:referred to NCID by MOH as he had been identified as a contact of case 142
  • Linked to case 142
  • Visited a shop at 26 Jalan Membina
  • Lives at Kim Tian Road

The 163rd confirmed patient is a 27-year-old female Singaporean 

  • 8 Mar 2020: developed symptoms
  • 9 Mar 2020: referred to NCID by MOH as she had been identified as a contact of case 142
  • Visited Funan Mall and PUB Recreation Club
  • Lives at Redhill Road
  • Linked to case 142

The 164th confirmed patient is a 57-year-old female Permanent Resident 

  • 10 Mar 2020: tested COVID-19 positive
  • Contact of case 134
  • Linked to the SAFRA Jurong cluster

The 165th confirmed patient is a 30-year-old male Singaporean 

  • 15 Feb to 7 Mar 2020: in France
  • 10 Mar 2020: tested COVID-19 positive

The 166th confirmed patient is a 55-year-old female Singaporean 

  • 10 Mar 2020: tested COVID-19 positive
  • Warded in an isolation room at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital
  • Contact of case 134
  • Linked to the SAFRA Jurong cluster

Update on confirmed patients

  • 93 fully recovered and discharged
  • 73 in hospital are mostly stable
  • 12 in critical condition

The ministry has cautioned everyone to be socially responsible — visit a doctor and stay at home if unwell. Many of the cases are due to irresponsible behavious. Let’s all do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19!

MOH calls for a suspension of all senior-centric activities conducted by government agencies from 11 Mar to 24 Mar 2020

  • Activities include those held at CCs, RCs, senior activity centres, active aging hubs, CREST centres, HPB and ActiveSG sport centres
  • As seniors are a vulnerable group of people, more care needs to be taken
  • Organisers will implement additional precautionary measures before activities resume:
    • Reducing the group size of activities to prevent crowding
    • Re-organising activities to minimise physical contact
    • Increasing the frequency of sanitising equipment between activities
    • Providing sufficient facilities for regular hand washing
    • Checking if participants are well
