As of 13 April 2020, 10am, there are 2,532 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Singapore. On 11 April 2020, there were 233 new confirmed cases.

There were 0 imported cases.

Of the 233 cases, 51 are linked to clusters. 15 cases are linked to other cases and 167 cases are unlinked.

McDonald’s Singapore employees diagnosed with COVID-19

  • 5 McDonald’s employees were diagnosed with COVID-19 on April 12 2020, Sunday
  • The employees worked at outlets in Lido, Forum Galleria, Parklane and Geylang East Central
  • These outlets have been deep-cleaned and will be closed until further notice
  • All employees working at the 4 outlets have been told to serve a company-imposed 14-day leave of absence, regardless of whether they had come into contact with the confirmed case

Markets to refuse entry to people not wearing masks

  • Starting from April 12, people not wearing face masks will not be able to enter the 40 markets managed by the National Environment Agency (NEA) or NEA-appointed operators
  • These 40 markets have crowd management measures in place (eg. controlled entry and exit places)
  • NEA advised patrons to limit their market visits to once a week and on weekdays or non-peak hours on weekends
