Daily Update 2020-05-05: 573 New Cases, Total 18,778 cases in SG Now

As of 5 May 2020, 10am, there are 18,778 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Singapore. On 4 May 2020, there were 573 new confirmed cases.

According to MOH, 560 cases are work permit holders living in dormitories, while 8 are work permit holders living outside dormitories.

5 of the remaining cases are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents.

Some good news from the CB!!

The average number of cases has decreased, from an average of 20 per day in the previous week to 9 per day in the past week.

Infamous “Sovereign” arrested

The Singapore Police Force revealed that the woman has been arrested and will be charged in court on 5 May 2020.
