As of 12 May 2020, 10am, there are 23,787 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Singapore. On 11 May 2020, there were 486 new confirmed cases.
According to MOH, 481 cases are work permit holders living in dormitories, while 2 are work permit holders living outside dormitories.
3 of the remaining cases are community cases.
MOH said that the significantly lower number of cases was due to the less intensive testing. This is because of one of the laboratories recalibrating its apparatus for one of the test kits, hence unable to do testing as intensively.
The 35 cases that were false positives have been removed from the total count of confirmed cases. Learn more about this in MOH’s situation report.

With the constant increase in the number of confirmed cases we see every day, the situation may seem a little gloomy.
On the bright side, however, we also have an increasing number of patients recovering and being discharged from hospital!!
Yesterday, MOH discharged 504 more patients. To date, 3,225 have fully recovered and have been discharged. 🙂

Gaming firm Razer doing its part to help Singaporeans in our fight against COVID-19!!
Razer will be distributing more than 5 million surgical masks to Singaporeans aged 16 and above!
Razer’s initiative is in line with the Government’s plan of distributing reusable face masks to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Singaporeans will be able to find vending machines dispensing these face masks at all Fraser malls as well as JustCo working spaces by 1 June.
How do I redeem these masks?
First, you would need to register on RazerPay, a mobile wallet app, to verify their identity.
Once registered, you will receive a QR code that will be valid for 3 months. You can use this QR code to redeem your face masks at the vending machines.
