As of 18 May 2020, 10 am, there are 28,038 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Singapore. On 17 May 2020, there were 682 new confirmed cases.

According to MOH, 673 cases are work permit holders living in dormitories, while 4 is work permit holders living outside dormitories.

5 of the remaining cases are community cases.

  • On 17 May, 998 patients were discharged
  • A total of 9,340 have fully recovered from the infection

Number of new cases among work permit holders residing outside dormitories have fallen

  • The number of new cases among work permit holders residing outside dormitories have fallen from an average of 5 cases per day in the previous week to an average of 2 per day
