Over the past weekend, I had a taste of CHICHA San Chen (吃茶三千) and it’s been on my mind ever since. San Chen (三千) actually means 3000 in Mandarin and I think its aptly to say I love Tea 3000. *cues nerd tears*
Founded in Taiwan in 1998, CHICHA San Chen (吃茶三千) has a clear mission to make high-quality freshly brewed teas to all tea lovers.
Handcrafted by tea artisans with over 20 years of experience, CHICHA also has their own tea mountain, tea tasters and tea roasters!
Authentic Oolong Tea
The fragrant Dong Ding Oolong Tea is an exclusive patented product incorporated with state of the art technology to bring the best flavours of Oolong to its patrons. It has been award the Highest International Authority iTQi certification (International Taste & Quality Institute in Brussels) in 2017 – equivalent to three Michelin stars.
But do not, I repeat, DO NOT try saying Dong Ding 10 times for you might become the exact opposite.

The Emperor’s Bubble Milk Tea
CHICHA couples the best of traditional and modern flavours to bring the crowd’s favourite – 国王珍珠奶茶 which literally translates to Emperor’s Bubble Milk Tea is the bomb.
Each cup is brewed to order using a Teapresso machine and mixed with fresh cream to concoct a divine cup of heaven.
There are five other options available – from classics Green Tea and Black Tea, to Cassia Black Tea, High Mountain Pou Chong Tea, Osmanthus Oolong Tea and of course the Dong Ding Oolong Tea.
You can customise your order with honey or more cream and add on your favourite toppings – we recommend the extra large bubbles!
There are hot drinks available too so fret not if cold drinks are not your thing.
The waiting time was shorter than expected which was great. There’s a tea appreciation counter for Taiwan’s Lishan Qingxin Oolong Tea that I unfortunately didnt’t get to try. But by the looks of it, CHICHA has done it right. Tea is available for retail in canisters and tea bags for you to enjoy a taste of Taiwan at home!
I love Tea 3000.
