Does learning more about the 3 phased approach makes you wonder, is Circuit Breaker really ending?
Phase 1 does not seem any different from our current situation ☹️ There is still quite a lot of restrictions. We cannot dine in at restaurants or meet up with our friends for shopping because most of the retail shops are closed.

But, we can bring our pets for grooming services and dye our hair. Or even visit our parents and grandparents once a day, with only two people from the same household.

All along we thought that after 2 months of Circuit Breaker we can finally get a breather. Hence, it is disappointing to learn that our life will not go back to normal once the Circuit Breaker ends.
Even when we reach Phase 3 (still a long way to go), there is also a ‘new normal’ life for us to get used to.
The duration for each phase seems a little vague, which is understandable because we cannot possibly predict how the situation will evolve. It’s just that we might feel a little better if there is a set end date for us to look forward to.
Health Minister Gan Kim Yong mentioned there is a chance that Circuit Breaker will come back to us if there is a spike in cases at the first step of exiting CB.
According to mothership.sg, there are some countries that prematurely ease their lockdown only to reverse it when there is a surge in new cases.
We can all agree that it will be harder for us to take one step forward only to take three steps back. So we have to be really careful and embrace the fact that it will be an uphill battle before there is a vaccine for the coronavirus.
We all can do our part by wearing masks and taking care of our health! 💪🏻💪🏻
