Local skydiving GOLD MEDALIST Kyra Poh defends World skydiving championships title

Yet another young local talent does our country proud! In the recent Windoor Wind Games held in Spain on Sunday (Feb 4), Singapore skydiving prodigy Kyra Poh defended her title (in the 2016 games) once again, winning two gold medals.

The 15 year old, clinched her first gold medal in the solo freestyle, beating 12 other competitors to emerge victorious.

In the four-way speed category, Kyra and teammate Choo Yi Xuan partnered up with Polish pair Josh Ruiz-Velasco and Andrzej Soltyk to bag 4 additional gold medals.

In an interview, Kyra explained:

There was a lot more pressure on me this year coming back as defending champion, and the standard of this year’s competition was very high. So I’m really proud that I managed to defend my gold

Kudos to our young champions and welcome back home!
