With 2019 being Singapore’s Bicentennial year, we came across this Reddit user by the name SG19912019, who had some really interesting photos worthy of sharing.

Reddit user SG19912019 got a thought-provoking idea to recreate shots his Father took when he was in Singapore 30 years ago. After his Father passed on in 2014, SG19912019 undertook a personal project to recreate his father’s most noteworthy pictures. By going to the exact same spots where the photo was initially taken, SG19912019 was able to capture many nostalgia-inducing shots.

These pictures, when put side by side, really show how far (and fast) Singapore has developed over the past 30 years. I wonder what Singapore will look like 30 years from now…
