Phase 2 has officially started! While we may be sure of what are some of the common things we can or can’t do, there is still a list of things we may still be confused about.
For instance, can we book a staycation?
Unfortunately, for all those who were looking forward to booking a staycation in Phase 2, the answer is no.
According to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), hotels have been instructed to not accept reservations from local residents unless they belong to certain categories.

However, the hotel’s F&B establishments would be allowed to operate in Phase 2!
The same rules that apply to other F&B outlets in Phase 2 will apply to the hotel’s F&B establishments as well.

While it may be disappointing to some that they might not be able to book their next staycation, I’m sure it’s for the better!
Necessary precautions have to be taken to ensure that there would not be a second wave of infections.

So let’s all be patient and count our blessings that we can at least dine-in now!
