Unless you don’t do grocery shopping and hide in your little hole (like me), I’m sure you know that SafeEntry tracking is being implemented in Singapore.
Starting from market and public libraries, the SG Government has decided to extend this initiative to most public places. This includes supermarkets, banks, even barbers.
Yep, you read it right. Barbers are included in the list too. The full list of public services that are required to register can be found on the SafeEntry website.
How does SafeEntry work?
All customers and staff must register before entering the premises. But don’t worry, the registration is as simple as 123.
Just flash your NRIC to the staff for scanning and you are registered!! If you are below 16 or don’t have an NRIC, don’t worry just make sure you have a document that has your personal details and a barcode. For example, primary school students can use their EZlink card.
Or if you are feeling a little tech-ier or forgot to bring your NRIC that day, you can fill up an online form via scanning a QR code onsite.

If you are unclear of how this works, there are detailed instructions at the premises to guide you through. Don’t worry!!
Chop chop, keep up with SG’s culture
If you are a true blue Singaporean, you will know how kanchiong we Singaporeans are.
So, to not keep the queue behind you waiting, we suggest to get your phones or NRIC ready when you are in the queue. (to avoid being paiseh)
Let’s hang in there a little longer Singapore! We have done very well so far so let’s continue to keep up the good work!
