Singapore recently launched its new radio station dedicated to business news and personal finance on 29th Jan. It is the first of such radio stations in Singapore.
Listeners can expect to hear topics from sensible investing to responsible saving through a talk show format. General news and discussions on wider social issues like health, education and music will also be included to buff up the range of topics.
6a.m.: DJs Elliott Danker and Yasmin Jonkers will lead the discussions on top business stories in Singapore and around the world. Additional informations such as market updates, companies to watch and trends to spot will also be touched. They will be joined by experts in their area to give a more convincing discussion to the listeners. Experts such as Co-founder of Banyan Tree Holdings – Claire Chiang and Senior Minister of State for Law & Finance – Indranee Rajah.
10a.m.: DJ Howie Lim takes over the rein to talk about property investments and challenges faced by local SMEs.
2p.m.: DJ Claressa Monteiro will helm lifestyle segment
4p.m.: DJ Desmond Wong follows with a round-up of the day’s news and trading activities around Asia and Europe. He will also look ahead to the opening of the New York Stock Exchange and discuss the day’s headlines with analysts.
Weekends, 7a.m. to noon: DJ Audrey Ying will advise listeners on ways to spend their weekly rest days.
