Teresa Teng or 邓丽君 (deng li jun) was a legendary Taiwanese singer who could sing in various different languages. She had a huge fan base and was regarded highly but sadly died at a young age of 42.
And it seems that the late singer is set to hold a live concert again – well virtually at least. With the help of holographic technology, the singer will be brought to life in realistic virtual form. She will then perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 11th August as part of the Teresa Teng Virtual Reality World Tour 2018.
Digital Domain, the California-based special effects company, was the crew behind this. They had previously done this with the late rap artist Tupac Shakur in 2012.
Tickets for the upcoming concert are available from sportshubtix.sg, the Singapore Indoor Stadium Box Office and all SingPost outlets islandwide.
