Want to save up to $102 on Grab rides and $130 a year at FairPrice supermarkets?

For all of you Grab lovers and NTUC shoppers, you can finally save more money!

Both Singapore’s largest supermarket chain NTUC FairPrice and ride-hailing platform Grab have worked together to launch a membership program on Monday ( March 19). This membership program called the Score subscription programme promises to deliver these savings.

With a survey being conducted by NTUC Link, the social enterprise managing the Plus consumer loyalty rewards programme, last year among a population of 1,000 consumers between the ages of 20 and 40. Both groceries (69%) and transport (54%) were the top two service respondents wanted to enjoy benefits as a membership reward.

How does it work?

Consumers are offered consumers rebates on their supermarket purchases and discounts on their Grab rides. Through Score, members can enjoy benefits such as a 5 percent rebate on supermarket purchases and a 20 percent discount on Grab rides, capped at $4 a trip and 30 redemptions a month. Head to www.scoresg.com to find out more!

How much is it?

The programme is priced at $29.99 for the first year and $49.99 for the second, which we think it’s still pretty worthy since both companies are looking to rope in more partners and industry leaders in the second year to provide other benefits and services to members.
