Meat lovers rejoice! Whether you prefer Western, Korean or Japanese cuisine, there is something for you here in this article!
There is just something special about sinking your teeth into a piece of meat that is grilled to perfection. Plus points if the meal is affordable too!
Read on as we dive into the Top 5 BBQ Restaurants for all you meat lovers in Singapore (not all of them are as expensive as you might expect them to be)!
Here at Decker Barbeque, the meat briskets are slow-cooked to perfection. Glazed and dipped in their in-house special sauce (which is tomato-based), the meat comes straight of the bone with minimal effort. This is the result of 16 hours worth of slow-cooking, using Decker Barbeque’s very own smoker at the back of their restaurant.
This is definitely how you know you’re getting top quality meat for an affordable price! These melt-in-your-mouth meat briskets go for $16 for 100g, which is definitely worth every dollar spent.
If you’re feeling rich and craving for a wide variety of meat, indulge in their Meat Platter, which contains three types of meat, totalling 600g & two sides for $72. Customers get to pick from Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chopped Beef, Ribs, Chicken and Turkey. If you feel that the meat taste is too rich for your liking, fret not as there are 2 sides to go with your Meat Platter. Choose from a wide variety of refreshing sides, such as crowd favourites Mac and Cheese, Coleslaw and Kale Salad.
Decker Barbeque will definitely be someplace you would want to visit soon, but make sure you go early! Their supply of meat is limited daily and they usually sell out if you arrive later than 8 pm at the door!

Smokey’s Barbeque is well known for its American Style of barbeque. Major plus points if you’re a fan of spicy food, because here at Smokey’s Barbeque, they’re serious about both their meat and hot sauces.
Smokey’s Barbeque slow roasts their meat the traditional American way; 22 hours over very low-temperatures over their in house custom-made smokers with a blend of American mesquite and hickory wood chips. Following this, the slow-roasted meat is set aside for an additional 10 hours before they are finally served to hungry and eagerly waiting customers.
This long and tedious process ensures that the flavours of the meat are at their maximum, while also giving the meat its signature “smokey” taste, and hence the name of their barbeque restaurant.
Spicy food lovers will enjoy the Buffalo Wings, which are an All-American favourite, served with a hot sour sauce of 3 spiciness levels; mild, spicy and extra spicy. 6 pieces of these tantalising wings go for $12, 12 for $20 and 18 for $28. This is super affordable by our standards as you could be paying the same price for wings at 4fingers/ Wingstop!
Take a trip to the United States by ordering the US Prime Beef Brisket, which goes for $27. Marinated with German Beer, the meat has a rich taste to it. If you’re in for some ribs, order the St Louis Pork Spare Ribs which is juicy and succulent. For a full slab of St Louis Pork Spare Ribs, be prepared to spend $49. Prices go down as you order a smaller portion of ribs; $39 for a 2/3 slab and $27 for a 1/3 slab, so you can be sure you don’t end up over-ordering and wasting your money!
Sauces here are spectacular, as their Brisket and Ribs are served with their house-made Texas Barbeque Sauce which is sweeter than most other sauces. If you are a die-hard fan for spiciness, go for the Smokey Ghost or Hurricane Hot Sauce!

Wang Dae Bak Korean BBQ Restaurant
To all Korean Food lovers, now is your time! Not only does Wang Dae Bak Korean BBQ Restaurant serve delicious BBQ Buffets, but they are also unique in a sense that they provide a charcoal grill for you to use, instead of the traditional electric grill you are used to when you normally eat Korean BBQ.
The charcoal grill gives the grilled meat a nice char, resulting in a flavour that can only be achieved through the use of charcoal.
Despite being around for many years, Wang Dae Bak Korean BBQ Restaurant has retained its loyal fan base despite the numerous other Korean BBQ Restaurants that have sprung over the past few years.

If you live in Singapore or Malaysia, chances are you’ve come across this restaurant before. With many outlets across Singapore and Malaysia, it was founded by a dentist by the name of Dr Jeffrey Goh in 2012. (fun fact: he decided to open a Morganfield’s, a restaurant specialising in pork ribs in Malaysia, where 70% of the national population can’t eat pork)
Morganfield’s specialise in their Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs, but you may take a look at their other ribs flavours such as Garlic BBQ, Spicy Asian BBQ and Smoked Peppercorn Spare Ribs.
The ribs are nothing short of being succulent and oozing with flavourful goodness. The meat is soft to the touch, to the extent, you can use your fingers to simply pull it off the bone.
A full slab of their ribs will set you back $41.90, while a half slab will be $27.90.
Be sure to check out Morganfield’s during the weekends too for their Weekend Ribs Buffet. At just $40, which includes tax and service charges, you get FREE FLOW of their sticky bones ribs, sausages, roast chicken, sides, soups and desserts.
The ribs buffet is available on weekends and public holidays, from 11 am to 4 pm. Due to the large volume of meat you’d be taking in, we recommend skipping breakfast and dinner and just go all out during the buffet!
Look out for their Festive specials too! For example, Morganfield’s serves their special Cranberry Sticky Bones/ Hazelnut Sticky Bones during Christmas season. What a jolly time to be around!
