1. Bali, Indonesia
Undoubtedly one of the best summer holiday destinations in Asia, Bali is home to ancient cultures, pristine beaches and gorgeous wonders of nature. Exotic temples set against stunning backdrops of the prettiest skies, Kelingking Beach with a natural formation that resembles a T-Rex’s head are some of Bali‘s top attractions. Contrary to popular belief, Bali is also an amazing destination for families. Do visit the Bali Treetop Adventure and Waterbom Bali for an amazing time before you end your trip!
2. Bangkok, Thailand
Living in an oven all year round has got Singaporeans seasoned to the heat that thrives in Bangkok. With temperatures rising up to 35°C, the sweltering heat has not dwindled Singaporean’s love for Bangkok especially with the cheap shopping and delicious food. Chatuchak, Ratchada Night Market and Siam Square are common names but we recommend the more obscure and new places. For the best roast pork, take a grab down to Mr Joe for the ultimate crispy pork. And if you are a fan of cafes, The Commons is an amazing place for some brunch and coffee.

3. Taipei, Taiwan
The birthplace of Bubbletea and the world famous Shilin Fried Chicken, Taipei remains one of our favourite cities in the world. Must-visit attractions include Taipei 101 and Shilin Night Market, but we also prefer to spend a night in the Ximending district which truly comes alive at night with many street performers showing off their rad dance and vocal skills. We also highly recommend having breakfast at McDonald’s as its options are aplenty!
4. Bintan, Indonesia
A mere 50-minute ferry ride away, Bintan is the nearest place to visit on this list. The ideal destination for a short weekend getaway, Bintan is nothing short of adventure and warm hospitality. We highly recommend trying out Air Adventures at Lagoi Bay for the thrill seekers or spend a fun-filled day at Chill Cove at Treasure Bay with your family!
5. Penang, Malaysia
The aromatic smell of Penang Laksa lingers in every corner of Penang. With graffiti lining the sides of every path you take, take some time to stroll through the streets of Penang and discover the beauty of life on this small island. Visits to Kek Lok Si Temple, the Penang Peranakan Museum (for a touch of Little Nyonya) and Penang National Park and the Chulia Street Night Market are some great ways to spend your time there.
