Tour Changi Airport’s T4 before it opens officially

I’m sure everyone has heard of Changi Airport’s Terminal 4 that is due to open in the second half of 2017.

Selected airline flights and volunteer trials have been ongoing to iron out the remaining operational kinks.

The T4 Open House will run daily from 7 – 20 August. (9 am to 6 pm).

Here are some interesting facts that will happen during the event:


Register NOW to get exclusive “boarding pass”

There are about 200,000 tickets available, with up to 15,000 for each day of the Open House.

Registration is open until 1 am of the day of the intended visit.

You can book tickets for yourself and five other people.

Only those with tickets are allowed entry.

Registration has already opened at their T4 site


T4 Open House App to guide you on your tour

The self-guided tour is about 1km long and will take 60 to 90 minutes to complete.

Obtain the “boarding pass” to activate the app.


Buy duty-free products before it officially opens

Pre-order items on the airport’s online shopping portal iShopChangi at least 18 hours before your visit.


Games/Contests/Lucky Draws

You can stand to win e-vouchers for use at Changi Airport’s retail and food and beverage outlets by playing location-based games on the app.

There is also a Photo Of The Day competition and a daily lucky draw, with airline tickets to be won.

Exciting innovations and features

The acclaimed Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST) features at T4 that include facial recognition technology, automated check -in kiosks and bag drop machines will be up for display.

Experience visual highlights such as the “Peranakan shophouses”, “Petalclouds” and “Travelling Family” sculptures and the immense greenwalls found at departure and arrival halls.

Thre will be integrated duty-free shopping for the first time at Changi Airport with two core duty-free categories, “Liquor and Tobacco”, and “Cosmetics and Perfumes” combining into a single duty-free zone in the transit area.


No F&B will be sold during the event

Food and drink outlets are not yet opened, so remember to bring your own refreshments.

Water coolers will be available though.
