A late announced maintenance of the trains on the North-South Line caused a 10-20 minutes delay for the commuters on Wednesday (Feb 14).
SMRT announced on their Twitter at 5.45am that the Red Line trains travelling from Ang Mo Kio to Raffles Place will be delayed.

It was explained on a Facebook post that the delay of the trains will be “for the safety of commuters”, and “We are sorry for the delay and the inconvenience you experienced,”.
Another tweet was updated three hours later stating that the travelling delay was shortened to 10 minutes from Ang Mo Kio to Raffles Place.
They also added that the maintenance work is still underway.
